[edit] Mutation
In case anybody is unclear about this gene, when mutated it makes male flies chase, court and vigorously attempt to mate with other males, and that is a scientific fact. Homosexual behavior is common in animals. Humans are not flies, and homosexual behavior in humans may or may not be influenced by genetics. Speciate 07:20, 22 June 2007 (UTC)
- Scientific fact is a dangerous combination of words. In fact, only some alleles of fru do as you say; others simply prevent courtship behavior. --aciel (talk) 20:42, 29 November 2007 (UTC)
