Frontistirio
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
A Frontisterion (Katharevousa) or Frontistirio (Modern Greek) in Greek Φροντιστήριο is a prevalent type of private cram schools in Greece.
Most Greek secondary education students whose families can afford the significant fees attend a frontistirio. An even more expensive alternative is the hire of private teachers who teach the students at home (usually one teacher per subject).
Nowadays frontistiria and private teachers that cater for university students are also becoming common.
