Front walkover

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

A front walkover is a gymnastics manoeuver performed the exact opposite of a back walkover. To perform a front walkover the gymnast starts standing up straight with his/her arms up next to their ears. The gymnast then takes a step forward, thus kicking into a handstand. From this position the gymnast then continues to bring their legs over their head farther with the momentum of kicking into the initial handstand as if going into the bridge position. When the first foot touches the floor the gymnast the pulls themselves up to standing again.
