Based on what happened at Talk:Jean-Claude Irvoas and Talk:List of shopping malls in North Carolina, it's starting to look like whenever I edit a page that JJay (talkcontribs) has touched, he considers this stalking. I did try to explain that I'm not stalking him, but since he doesn't want me leaving messages on his talk page, I don't know whether he's read it.

Since this dispute is not about a specific article, it doesn't seem appropriate to me to be discussing it on article talk pages. I am no longer writing on JJay's talk page, and he has not responded to the messages I've left on my own talk page. So far, no venue for discussion which is appropriate has been agreed on. This page is another attempt to provide such a venue. I could try to simply refrain from editing any page that I see he's touched, but I'm not sure this is reasonable or workable.

I have no intent to harass, but it seems unlikely that I can convince him of this. I'm just trying to edit the encyclopedia, and yes, I believe we should have some level of encyclopedic standards. Anyone who looks at my edits or my user page should be able to see this. So, it's natural that when it comes to certain articles that I think should be merged or deleted, JJay and I are going to disagree. I like to think that I've usually been able to disagree with other editors in a productive, civil fashion.

I'm trying to not make assumptions about who's right or wrong here, and honestly I just want the dispute to end, not to be dragged out even longer. However, in a twist of irony, the accusations of stalking on article talk pages are now starting to make me feel harassed. The only thing I wish for to revolve this dispute is for the accusations of stalking to stop. I just want to talk about articles on article talk pages, but that's not what's happening.
