What about the deleted scenes? I know it's very impractical for Paramount to release us the uncut version, but at least the deleted scenes should be mentioned. --ChuckDizzle 19:30, 30 June 2006 (UTC)

[edit] POV?

Seems to me that this article could use tweaking - it reads a little too much like it was written by a fan -but I don't see that it deserves the POV tag.--Qball6 04:16, 14 July 2006 (UTC)

I think you meant to use the {tone} tag. I'll add it. mwazzap 05:18, 27 August 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Anti-Hero?

How is Jason the Anti-Hero? He still kills people just as murderous as the other ones! What the hell? Remove that! A.P. 19:42, 24 May 2007 (UTC)

I removed that quote.[1] One article[2] cited referred to him as such, but not in relation to this film in particular (and it's an invalid use of the term, either way) - the point of the quote was to emphasize the real start of his utter and complete immortality due to his first resurrection of many. And the section cited two other articles as well, none of which had anything to do with the statement! Well, unless you count the phrases "I was rooting for him" and "This was the film where audiences finally began to cheer for Jason Voorhees" which just mean people watch this type of film to see the villain kill. Well, unless you think all teenagers, policemen, and paintballers are evil and need to be stopped by whatever means necessary! That's the only way Jason would fit the term anti-hero.
