[edit] Summary

Fritz Kuhn was arrested in Webster, Massachusetts on charges of drunkenness and profanity. Kuhn had been visiting Count Anastase Andreivitch Vonsiatskoy-Vonsiatski, the one-time head of the White Russians in the U.S. who lived in Thompson, Connecticut. He was arrested on the evening of July 16, 1939. This photo shows the Kuhn group after they left the courthouse. A crowd gathered around the court greeting Kuhn with loud boos. Kuhn appears in the center of the photo.
