Dear editor:
Wikipedia is intended to be a general-knowledge encyclopedia, not any kind of listing service. As such, your article Suraj Pathak -- which I assume is about you -- is not appropriate in the main article space, though would be acceptable as part of your user page. For further information, please see What Wikipedia is not.
Contributions, additions, corrections, and editing of your areas of interest or knowledge are, of course, always welcome, and I hope you continue to work on those areas.
Good luck. --Calton | Talk 5 July 2005 06:28 (UTC)
- Some of the people, places or things you have written about in the article August 8 may not be well-known enough to merit articles of their own. The Wikipedia community welcomes newcomers, and encourages them to become Wikipedians. By starting an account or logging in, each user is entitled to a user page in which they can describe themselves, and this article's content may be incorporated into that page. However, to merit inclusion in the encyclopedia proper a subject must be notable. We encourage you to write or improve articles on notable subjects. -- BMIComp (talk) 5 July 2005 08:00 (UTC)
