Someone raised the issue of your "canvassing" for Gretl,[1] [2] at WP:ANI#Odd Canvassing. Since Wikipedia is meant only to be an encyclopedia, that's distracting; as someone said, we're not Monster.com. If you'd like to briefly note on your userpage that your programming team could use volunteers, I think that would be fine (see WP:USERPAGE for more info).
