National Vigilance Park
Built by a combined team of over 400 military, government and private industry partners, the National Vigilance Park (located on the grounds of the National Security Agency) was created to honor the men who lost their lives while flying dangerous aerial reconnaissance missions during the Cold War.
Inspired by a Cold War Reconniassance display set up at the NSA by Greg Skavinski and Frederick Ferrer, NSA Director Lieutenant General Kenneth Minihan drove the effort to have the memorial park established to honor the sacrifices of the Silent Warriors who flew critical intelligence collection missions around the world in support of national security.
