[edit] Missing explanation

The article presetly describes Freight Australia operations as being in Victoria, but has a picture of a train leaving Perth. Presumably FA also had some interstate operations that are not described. --Scott Davis Talk 07:58, 4 July 2006 (UTC)

It started off as 'Freight Victoria' acquiring the assets of V/Line Freight when privatised. It later gained contracts interstate, taking advantage of deregulation of the railways, and change it's name to reflect it's new operations. Wongm 06:31, 7 October 2007 (UTC)
