This article currently says that it "does not make it clear whether the subject meets the WikiProject Music criteria for importance". Most articles about famous musicians have information about their birth, death, where they lived, famous songs they wrote or played, etc. - I know none of this information, and I've never met anyone who knows anything about Freddie Greene's life - but every jazz guitar player knows what it means to "play like Freddie Greene". Please keep this article!

It's Freddie Green. Not Greene. That's probably part of the problem. Since Basie's band won a Grammy in 1958 (and 1963), and Green was playing with the band then, it appears to meet the criterea. But how does one edit the title?
