It seems likely that McLeod became a U.S. citizen at some point, but I can find no information on this point. The U.S. Open's website refers to him as a Scot in its coverage of his Open win, but I don't think this necessarily means that he wasn't a U.S. citizen at that time. Osomec 1 July 2005 22:35 (UTC)
