The Fremont Police Department (FPD) is the primary law enforcement agency for the city of Fremont, Nebraska. With 37 full time commissioned Police Officers, it is responsible for a population of 25,174 people (2000 census) and an area of 7.4 mi².

FPD operates a 4 person detective bureau with a Lieutenant commanding the unit. FPD also operates a single K-9 unit for the entire city.
