There have been many Freedom Movements going on in India. Following are some of the more prominent:

Freedom from the Mughals by the Marathas in the seventeenth and eighteenth centuries
Freedom from the Mughals and the British by the Sikhs in the seventeenth through nineteenth centuries
Freedom from British rule from the seventeenth through the twentieth century
Kashmir Freedom Movement - Violent rebellion by a section of the Muslim population aided by Pakistan and against Indian rule.
Assam, Naga and Mizo - Violent rebellion against Indian rule currently aided by Christian Missionaries and at one time aided by China.
Khalistan Movement (ongoing)
