Frederico Burgel Xaviel, or simply, Fred (born January 15, 1986 in Novo Hamburgo, Brazil), is a Brazilian Defender. He currently plays for Standard on loan from Internacional from January 2, 2006 until June 30, 2006. There is also an option for loan to be extended for 2 more years from July 1, 2006.

He signed a contract with FCV Dender in May 2008.
