Fred Hiatt

Fred Hiatt is the editorial page editor of The Washington Post.
Hiatt reported for the Washington Star until its purchase by the Washington Post in 1981. As a Post reporter, Hiatt had stints in Japan and Russia. He is married to Margaret Shapiro, an editor of the Post Magazine.
