A FreeBSD User Group is a meeting of people who like the FreeBSD operating system and use it, often abbreviated to FUG. Some of the user groups support the larger BSD family of operating systems and use the name BSD User Group, abbreviated BUG. User groups may be specific to one certain geographical area or a country.
