You have completely forgotten to mention the famous "Schlegelberger memo" in which Hitler says that any solution to the Jewish problem is to be delayed until the war is over - the memo is from 1942 I believe. The Nuremberg trial transcript hints at this memo - which lead to David Irving and Jaekel uncovering it in the German archives in the 1970s.159.105.80.141 19:55, 8 June 2007 (UTC)

CCuriousity - do you have a link to the increase in sentencing ( 2.5 years to execution)? This alone you would think would have caused Schlegelberger to be executed. Is there any background to this incident? Thank you.159.105.80.141 20:00, 8 June 2007 (UTC)

All I could find on Markus Luftglass - 74 years old , stole? 65,000 eggs and hide them - 15,000 spoiled. This appears to only show up in the Nuremberg transcripts. This is a huge number of eggs. The whole story sounds fishy - maybe true - burying 65,000 eggs and 50,000 survived okay ( in the ground and lime to boot ). Maybe some other info is out there waiting to be found - maybe Markus was a big time blackmarketeer( of eggs ) - or some of the Schlegelberger memos may have been enhanced.159.105.80.141 15:52, 14 June 2007 (UTC)

I do not read German but I believe the German version of wikipedia mentions the memo between him and Lammer and gives the date. The English version should be able to roust up the same level of courage ( and scholarship) as the German.159.105.80.141 (talk) 16:51, 25 February 2008 (UTC)
