As with many stories in business and history the truth is illusive to the goals of the interviewee and the reporter. The reporter wants another interview. The Interviewee wants another interview. The readers get what these two folks want and they are seldom the whole truth. It is the hope of this page that former Officers and employees can contribute to the truth. Many who have passed away have contributed to discussions about the last days of Franklin National Bank. Although in comparison to todays crooks the Franklin failure was chump change, to those who were there at the time it was a great disappointment. Most have no clue what really happened.
