Talk:Franken Berry

Is it true that this stuff was recalled because it turned kids' stools pink? 142.161.204.123 04:25, 30 September 2005 (UTC)
- This stuff has never been recalled to my knowledge and is still available for purchase (most Walmart's stock it). ALKIVAR™

Maybe I'm thinking of the wrong episode, but wasn't it Captain Crunch who wanted Count Chocula whacked?
[edit] Cultural refs
I removed for the second time a list of "cultural references," none of which seem particularly notable. As Wikipedia is not an indiscriminant collector of information, I don't see the need or use of this section. It grows like The Sorcerer's Apprentice, but none of it seems notable. Thoughts? --TeaDrinker 00:46, 21 October 2007 (UTC)
- I'm sorry for reverting your original edit - I mistakenly thought it was vandaliam. As to whether the section should remain I would note that - "The particular topics and facts within an article are not each required to meet the standards of the notability guidelines." (from WP:NN). In the Count Chocula article the equivelenat section seems to have been removed in the past but has now been put back. I think maybe some note of Frankenberry's use in Popular Culture with a few examples could suffice without the attempt at a comprehensive list. There are many "... in Popular Culture" articles so I don't think that the information automatically desn't belong on Wikipedia. [[Guest9999 11:10, 21 October 2007 (UTC)]]
- Before removing, I looked for material which seemed like it could be integrated into the article (unrestricted lists of trivia are common in articles, but frowned upon by WP:TRIVIA). I didn't really find anything encyclopedic, but I am open to suggestions of what to keep. --TeaDrinker 23:01, 21 October 2007 (UTC)
I have seen a lot of references to Franken Berry lately in popular culture. Are these recent appearances appealing to the viewers childhood, or are they carefully crafted product placement? Kevinh456 23:02, 22 October 2007 (UTC)
