Did this guy actually play major league ball? He doesn't seem to be listed on baseball reference, which is pretty definitive. --W.marsh 05:50, 20 January 2006 (UTC)

He did actually, under the name of Frank Betcher. -- No Guru 17:45, 24 November 2006 (UTC)

Frank Bettger was actually born in 1888, according to himself (his book, last chapter "How I raised myself from Failure to Success in Selling", 1947).
