[edit] Cezanne?

Is there any attribution for the remark about Cezanne? It's not cited, and it isn't evident to me from his work, not that I'm an art critic, but I've probably seen as much Cezanne and certainly more Auerbach than the average museumgoer. - Jmabel | Talk 02:05, 31 March 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Fictional treament in W.G. Sebald's 'The Emigrants'

The character of the artist Max Ferber in Sebald's 'The Emigrants' is based in part on Frank Auerbach, according to this article in The Guardian, as well as in this blog

Is this something that could be added to the original article as a reference, or something of that sort? Eam531 (talk) 13:44, 19 April 2008 (UTC)
