let's get something straight, SL Benfica stands for Sport Lisboa e Benfica, and SCP stands for Sporting Clube de Portugal. why do people keep calling this small and insignificant soccer team Sporting Lisbon... poor fellas even try to seem bigger by calling themseleves Club of Portugal, but then you come and call them Lisbon...

That's absolutely right!! And believe me that, not being a Sporting supporter (I support FC PORTO) the "poor fellas" and "insignificant soccer team" have performed better in the recent years than Benfica, whose titles are in average 50 years old!! morre mouro —Preceding unsigned comment added by Couto 4 (talk • contribs) 14:58, 3 September 2007 (UTC)
