Perhaps the northeastern part of the Netherlands should be gray to avoid implying that Dutch Low Saxon and West Frisian are Franconian languages. —Angr 10:14, 26 October 2006 (UTC)

Well, on a dialectal scale perhaps, but one cannot deny that Dutch (thus Low Franconian) is the dominant language there. Maybe a note on Frisian and Low Saxon would suffice?

But this map is on a dialectal scale. Standard (non-Franconian) German is the dominant language in the parts of Germany colored on this map, and French is the dominant language in the parts of France colored on this map. —Angr 10:57, 26 October 2006 (UTC)
