A 9.2in Howitzer of the 2nd Australian Siege Battery, in action.

Identified, left to right: Gunner (Gnr) Dalgliesh; Gnr A E Scoles; Gnr J H (M ?) Hislop. The gunners are wearing their gas respirators. Note the camouflage screen overhead to prevent observation of the position by enemy airmen.
