Frankie Wharton is a fictional character in the TV show Waking The Dead on the BBC. Frankie Wharton played by Holly Aird is a Forensic Pathologist who works with a CID team. She joined the team in season 1.

Frankie took a conscientious approach to her job and was good friends with Mel. After Mel's death (end of season 4), Frankie left the CCU to return to research. In reality Holly Aird left the programme due to her pregnancy.
