Frank Sorace

Frank Sorace (September 3, 1900 New Hyde Park, New York - June 1979 New Hyde Park, New York)

Frank was an Italian-American Lucchese crime family made soldier who worked under caporegime Paul Vario. Sorace helped protect the illegal card games held at the Euclid Taxi Cab Stand and the other businesses used for Vario's casinos. Sorace was one of the many mobsters that Henry Hill knew when growing up. Frank is known to have helped Peter Morales and Peter "The Killer" Abbandante murder an unknown African-American youth in Bensonhurst, Brooklyn on June 12, 1966. The murder was witnessed by Henry Hill and Lawrence "Larry" Bilello.

In 1979, Sorace was murdered in a gangland execution.
