Frank Seiberling

Frank Seiberling (born October 1859, in Summit Co., OH, died August 1955 in Akron Co., OH) is an American inventor/founder. He is most famous for founding the Goodyear Tire and Rubber Company and the Seiberling Rubber Company. He also built a mansion, called Stan Hywet, which is now a national museum.
He was married to Gertrude F. Penfield, about 1888, who was born February 1867 in Cuyahoga Co., OH.

His parents were: John F. Seiberling, born March 1835 in PA, and died 1900-1910 in Summit Co., OH. He married about 1858 to Catherine, who was born May 1837 in PA. All grandparents of Franklin A., were from PA also.
Some of the children of John F. and Catherine were:
Anna A. (about 1858), Franklin A. (October 1859), Ida (about 1857, died before 1870), Charles (about 1861), Cora D. (about 1863), Hattie M. (about 1865), Grace Irene (about 1867), Kittie G. (about 1869). Mary B. (about 1871) and Ruth J. (November 1874).
