Frank Salvato II

Frank Salvato II (born July 6, 1970 in Camden, New Jersey) is an Italian American songwriter, record producer, sound engineer, sound designer, and keyboardist.
He has crafted songs for a number of R&B, Underground Dance Music and Pop chart artists. He has 2 sons, young film makers, Lazer Ray & Dimitri Dino, with first wife Tenis Kopansky. His second wife was Gina Chambless, aka fetish model Jenna Lyte. He is currently single and living in Atlanta, GA with offices there and in Los Angeles.
Salvato has had his hand at remixing for other artists, most recently "Know Us" for Jillian Ann and for many other artists under the names of Kid Klasique, Soul Systmz, Tru Sound, and Insomniac Rhythmz. In more recent times, Salvato's work has returned him to the Pop and R&B music genre with new and emerging artist Lauren Ezell. The Ezell project was put on hold in late 2006. He continues to train those in the Atlanta, Los Angeles, Orlando & Miami areas on music making and engineering using Apple computers and Logic Pro.
Salvato is well known for his sound engineering and sound design skills. He has worked with Renato Neto (keyboardist for Prince (artist)), Sheila E., Tal Begman, Michael DeLorenzo, Shaquille O'Neal, and most recently, Andre Benjamin, naming but a few of his clients in this field. His company Salvato Sound was a pioneer in 'canned sound' for sampler (musical instrument) and early synthesizers in the 80's & 90's. Sound design is still a major part of his business. Frank still creates custom sounds for TV, Film and Music Artist.
Salvato was the technical engineer for the platinum and Grammy nominated album (5 million world wide) “It Had To Be You...The Great American Songbook” by Rod Stewart. This was just one of the projects he worked with Neto and Bergman, including projects released in Japan by Producer / Musical Artist, Sheila E..
Salvato is also known for his pioneering work and dedication in pushing forward the digital music revolution in the recording industry. His expertise has kept him in the forefront of digital audio recording and training in this field, especially to those with the analog recording background making the move into the digital realm. He was the first in his field to become Apple Logic Pro Certified in the South Eastern United States. All of his production work is done with Logic Pro, while others are still using older, less reliable programs. He swears by Apple Computer, Native Instruments, Propellerheads Reason, Ableton Live and Spectrasonics software paired with Apple and Apogee hardware. He has been quoted as saying "If you can't write with this combination of hardware & software, you should quit!"
In the summer of 2004, Salvato began working part-time at the Apple Store at Lenox Square. Frank is a leader in the Store's Creative team in teaching Audio & Video Production.
Salvato also composes Electronic Music in the sub genre of Dream House, ala Brian Transeau aka BT, The Crystal Method, Deepsky, Delerium. The latest work in progress "Alas Babylon" (working title) is scheduled for release spring/summer 2008.
Salvato is planning on releasing 2 television documentary / reality series within 2008–2009. Both are music related.
Salvato also formed MOB Syndicate Records in 1989 . The label was successful, but closed its doors in 1995. Currently, Salvato runs Salvato Sound - a sound design and studio design company, Insomniac Rhythmz & Designs - music and digital media production company, and Klasique Phunque - remix productions.
