Frank Bigelow Tarbell

Frank Bigelow Tarbell PHD.( 1853December 12, 1920) was a professor of Classic Studies at the University of Chicago from 1893 until his death in 1920.[1] Tarbell was also an Associate Professor of Greek at that institution.[2] Tarbell published numerous books related to his field. Tarbell was a historian and archeologist.[3]

Frank Tarbell received his doctorate from Yale University. He taught for a short while at that school.[4] Professor Tarbell was one of the faculty members chosen to lay the cornerstone for the University of Chicago Classics building on June 9, 1914.[5]
