Frank Barlow (historian)

Frank Barlow (born 1911) is a British historian, known particularly for biographies of medieval figures. He has been Emeritus Professor of History, since 1977, at the University of Exeter[1].

He was Professor of History at Exeter, 1953-76; and a Fellow of both the British Academy and the Royal Society of Literature.[2] He was awarded the CBE for services to medieval history in 1989.
