Francis Bertrand (born 2 December 1985 in Mar Del Plata, Argentina) is an Argentine fashion and celebrity photographer. His latin heritage is visible in the fact that most of the actors and models he has worked with are of hispanic decent, Eva Longoria and Juanes are examples of pop culture icons he has worked with.
Francis Bertrands first professional photography project was a magazine cover shoot he did at Corporate Disney at the young age of 16. Today Bertrand has a resume of photographing actors, singers and models that include Eva Longoria, Maria Celeste, Victoria Recaño, Kinky, Mario Vazquez, Christine Dolce and many others.
In 2001 Francis Bertrand won a National award from the National Association of Hispanic Publications for Outstanding Design for the publication Para Todos magazine. In 2007 he was named one of the most influential Latinos in Southern California (by Latino 100).
His work has graced over 10 national magazine covers and editorials. His work has been in such magazines as Us Weekly, Para Todos, Kena, Selecciones, Mira, Business 2.0, TVyNovelas, TVnotas, Orange Coast, NY Post, Exposed magazine and several other publications. His art skills and design elements are essential tools that have led Bertrand into capturing a different style of photography.
In 2007 Francis Bertrand was given a possition as a contributing photographer for Getty Images. Other subjects Francis Bertrand has worked with have included many actresses such as Maria Conchita Alonso, Judy Reyes, Candela Ferro, Maria Celeste, Mayra Veronica, and preformers such as the band Ozomatli, Kinky, Los Abandoned, LaLa, Cecy B and Somaya Reece. He has also worked as a photographer for companies such as NBC, McDonald's and Aveeno.
