Francesco Oddo

Francesco Oddo (born August 14, 1946 in Trapani) is a football (soccer) manager and former player.
Born in Trapani, Sicily, but resident of Città Sant'Angelo, Abruzzo, Oddo started his coaching career in 1988 for Giulianova of Serie C2 league. In 1990 he became head coach of Serie B club Avellino, successively managing several other teams from the same league such as Modena and Pescara. He made his debut in a Serie A coaching position in 1995/1996 with Reggiana, ending the season with a sad relegation. He then had two other Serie A stints as head coach with Salernitana and Venezia, without any impressive result. He also coached Messina in 2002/2003 season.
He is father of AC Milan right-back, 2006 FIFA World Cup and 2007 UEFA Champions League winner Massimo Oddo.
