Francesco Bolzoni (born on May 7, 1989 in Lodi) is an Italian football (soccer) midfielder who plays for Internazionale. He is a product of the club's youth system.

Bolzoni started out at San Colombano al Lambro before joining Inter's academy. Bolzoni has played for every academy team from the Esordienti (under-13) to the Primavera (under-19).
During the season 2006-2007, Bolzoni was part of the winning side, when F.C. Internazionale Milano Primavera won the Trofeo Giacinto Facchetti (or simply Campionato Nazionale Primavera).
He made his first-team debut on February 1, 2007, playing 26 minutes of the Tim Cup (Italian Cup) semi-final return leg against U.C. Sampdoria at the Stadio Giuseppe Meazza.
On 2007-09-19, Bolzoni, alongside with Esposito and Puccio, was selected for the first time in the 20 man squad for the UEFA Champions League match against Fenerbahçe. However he failed to make his debut in the UEFA Champions League, on that day. In the following match against PSV Eindhoven he came on as a substitute for Santiago Solari in the 70th minute, making his first UEFA Champions League appearance.
On 2007-12-12, during an away match against PSV Eindhoven, Bolzoni started his first UEFA Champions League match, and also played the whole 90 minutes. The game ended in 1-0 win for Internazionale. [1]

Francesco Bolzoni was called up by Francesco Rocca to take part in Italy's Under-18 training camp, which took place at the Borghesiana training facility in Rome from the 26 to November 29, 2006. [2]
On 2007-10-05 Pierluigi Casiraghi called up Francesco Bolzoni, alongside with teammate Enrico Alfonso, to form part of the Italy national under-21 football team. The national side will be involved in the 2009 UEFA European Under-21 Football Championship qualification matches against Croatia national under-21 football team and Greece national under-21 football team. Although still 18 years old, Bolzoni was selected in Pierluigi Casiraghi's Italy national under-21 football team for the 2009 UEFA European Under-21 Football Championship qualification matches which took place between the 2007-10-12 and 2007-10-16.
On 2007-11-21 Bolzoni made his first appearance in the Azzurrini shirt, where he played the second half of the match against Faroe Islands national under-21 football team, where he came on as a substitute for Gabriele Paonessa. Italy U-21 won the game with the score of 1-0.
On 2007-12-03, Francesco Bolzoni, alongside with teammate Enrico Alfonso was called up to Massimo Piscedda's Italy national under-20 football team to take part in the Four Nations tournament match against Germany. [4]
