Francesca Sanders is an award winning playwright from Portland, Oregon.

She has been the recipient of the Oregon Literary Fellowship for Drama [1] and the Portland Civic Theatre Guild Fellowship For Theatrical Excellence.[2]
She has also been a Finalist for the Rosenthal New Play Prize[3] and PlayLabs (Playwright's Center Minneapolis).[4] She was the winner of The Lakewood Theatre New Play Competition[5] Mercury Rising Playwriting Competition,[6].
She won a women's work residency at New Perspectives Theatre in New York and has been commissioned by such places as Portland Center Stage[7] Proving Ground (Salt Lake City) and Integrity Productions[8]
She has been selected to participate in: Seven Devil’s Playwriting Conference[9] and the Kennedy Center Summer Playwriting Intensive.
