Frances Vukovich

Frances Vukovich (born on 08/30/30 in Smithdale, PA.) affectionately know as “Be Bop” Frances won 9 games and bopped opposing hurlers at a .284 clip for the Chicago Colleens in 1950. The apex of her career was playing in Yankee Stadium during August of 1950 while on tour with the Colleens and Springfield Sallies.
