Fran Mires

A native of California, Fran Mires is a bilingual multi-cultural Television Executive producer credited with the creation and launch of dozens of Television Shows in both English and Spanish. She is a graduate of San Francisco State University and earned her master's degree in journalism from the Medill School of Journalism at Northwestern University.

Based in Florida, Mires is originally credited with the launch of Spanish language Network, Telemundo's highly rated, flagship show "Ocurrio Asi" in 1990, hosted by Enrique Gratas[1] and later By Pedro Sevcec. [2]The show, the first of its kind in the Spanish language market was on the air for 11 years. Other Shows By Fran Mires during her 10 years at Telemundo: "La Buena Vida" ("The Good Life")Hosted by former Miss Universe Cecilia Blocco. [3]

Mires has conceived and launched dozens of shows in multiple formats for clients like NBC Daytime, MGM Latin America, HGTV, United Family Communications, Hearst Argyle, and many more.

She just completed a run with Liz Murdoch and Debbie Mason, producing a GSN based Game show called "Games Fever" for the US audience.

As a consultant, Fran helped launch "C News" in Trinidad and is currently launching a 3 hour prime time show in Arabic.[1]
