Fran Kranz (born July 13, 1983) is an American actor. He currently stars in the television comedy Welcome to the Captain. Kranz is a graduate of Yale University,[1] where in fall 2002 he enrolled in Shakespeare: Histories and Tragedies, taught by Professors Joseph Roach and Sandy Welch, and currently lives in Los Angeles. He has been cast to play Topher Brink on Joss Whedon's upcoming television series Dollhouse.[2][3]
