François Larocque

François Larocque (born April 13, 1975 in North Bay, Ontario) is a Canadian legal academic.
Larocque attended high school in Sturgeon Falls at École secondaire Franco Cité. After completing his degree in philosophy and law at the University of Ottawa, in 1997 and 2000 respectively, he clerked at the Ontario Court of Appeal in 2001 and at the Supreme Court of Canada with Justice Louise Arbour in 2002. As a Commonwealth Scholar, he pursued his doctoral studies at Trinity College at Cambridge University.
He currently teaches at the Faculty of Law (Common Law Section, French Program) at the University of Ottawa and is director of the National Program.
