Frøya, Sogn og Fjordane

Frøya is an island in Bremanger municipality in Sogn og Fjordane county in Norway. The island contains the village Kalvåg as well as the minor settlements of Liset, Steinset, Nesje, Stranda and Frøyalandet. Frøya is located on the north shore of Frøysjøen, which is part of the seaway between Florø and Måløy. Main industries are tourism and fish processing. The population of Frøya including adjoining islets is less than 600. The area of the island is 17.5 km2.
