[edit] Unspecified source for Image:Appalachian Power Park Opening Day.jpg
Thanks for uploading Image:Appalachian Power Park Opening Day.jpg. I notice the file's description page currently doesn't specify who created the content, so the copyright status is unclear. If you have not created this file yourself, then there needs to be a justification explaining why we have the right to use it on Wikipedia (see copyright tagging below). If you did not create the file yourself, then you need to specify where it was found, i.e., in most cases link to the website where it was taken from, and the terms of use for content from that page.
If the file also doesn't have a copyright tag, then one should be added. If you created/took the picture, audio, or video then the {{GFDL-self}} tag can be used to release it under the GFDL. If you believe the media meets the criteria at Wikipedia:Fair use, use a tag such as {{Non-free fair use in|article name}} or one of the other tags listed at Wikipedia:Image copyright tags#Fair_use. See Wikipedia:Image copyright tags for the full list of copyright tags that you can use.
If you have uploaded other files, consider checking that you have specified their source and tagged them, too. You can find a list of files you have uploaded by following this link. Unsourced and untagged images may be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. Stan 20:36, 17 August 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Your list IS valuable
The list you created is/was up for deletion. I want you to know there is a place for it: http://wikitistics.com . No one will be able to nominate it for deletion because it fits one simple rule: it's a statistic, list, or figure. Good luck with your endeavors! Joe 16:08, 28 August 2006 (UTC)
The List of WCW World Heavyweight Champions by age is what I was referring to. I noticed you were the first to post on it. My apologies if that was incorrect. Cheers Joe 17:09, 28 August 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Image tagging for Image:BarbieBlank-Kelly.png
Thanks for uploading Image:BarbieBlank-Kelly.png. The image has been identified as not specifying the source and creator of the image, which is required by Wikipedia's policy on images. If you don't indicate the source and creator of the image on the image's description page, it may be deleted some time in the next seven days. If you have uploaded other images, please verify that you have provided source information for them as well.

[edit] O. J. Mayo
Thanks for your hard work on updating the article. This highlanders team looks to be the best team in the history of WV boys b-ball. Gotta check out a game this year if you get the chance. Cheers. youngamerican (ahoy-hoy) 15:28, 29 August 2006 (UTC)
[edit] WWE Unforgiven
I didn't hear them announced that match, and it's not on wwe.com, so what is your source? TJ Spyke 02:46, 5 September 2006 (UTC)
- Kane/Umaga, I don't recall hearing them announce that on TV and it's not on the WWE website. TJ Spyke 02:52, 5 September 2006 (UTC)
- OK, I don't always pay attention during those rundowns. TJ Spyke 02:55, 5 September 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Vic Grimes
I just can't get through to user JB196. He continues to revert the article, reducing its quality claiming that he is not credited as "The Author" in the article itself. The issue is being brought up here [1] help would be greatly appreciated. -- bulletproof 3:16 03:11, 5 September 2006 (UTC)

[edit] WWC Women's Championship
I like the table you added to the World Wrestling Council article. Maybe you can straighten something out for me. I noticed you put the Women's Championship in the Inactive section, which is consistent with the WWC Women's Championship article, and with the information on wrestling-titles.com (where, I assume, the info for that article came from). Nevertheless, people have been updating the WWC article with recent Women's Championship title changes, and the WWC web site shows it along with other active titles (although it is currently vacant). Do you know for sure that it is inactive, or were you just going by those other sites? Geoffg 00:54, 10 December 2006 (UTC)
- No problem. Also, I think it's been vacant only for a week or so. If you look at the edit history for the WWC page, you can see that other editors have been updating the holders of various titles, including the Women's. Going by the edits, the title became vacant between Nov. 28 and Dec. 4. 2006 Geoffg 01:45, 10 December 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Image:Curtis Hughes.jpg
Thanks for uploading Image:Curtis Hughes.jpg. I notice the 'image' page specifies that the image is being used under fair use, but its use in Wikipedia articles fails our first fair use criterion in that it illustrates a subject for which a freely licensed image could reasonably be found or created that provides substantially the same information. If you believe this image is not replaceable, please:
- Go to the image description page and edit it to add
{{Replaceable fair use disputed}}, without deleting the original Replaceable fair use template. - On the image discussion page, write the reason why this image is not replaceable at all.
Alternatively, you can also choose to replace the fair use image by finding a freely licensed image of its subject, requesting that the copyright holder release this (or a similar) image under a free license, or by taking a picture of it yourself.
If you have uploaded other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified how these images fully satisfy our fair use criteria. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on this link. Note that any fair use images which are replaceable by free-licensed alternatives will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. Chowbok ☠ 04:44, 15 December 2006 (UTC)

[edit] reply
No problem. I've had a hell of a time keeping those pages unvandalised. I'm close to considering requesting protection for Wrestler of the Year, but hopefully the vandalism will slow down after the winners are announced. -- Scorpion 20:40, 7 January 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Greg Bownds
You previously made some major changes to this article. Unfortunately it wasn't enough for some American wrestling fans who have nominated it for deletion as not notable and failing WP:BIO. Might be an idea to participate in the debate, and maybe improve the article more if you can. I think they are effectively saying this article is a load of lies, but that's just my opinion. 124.181.204.208 07:34, 8 January 2007 (UTC)
- I've added some comments to the Afd regarding his notability, can you take a look and see if you're prepared to reconsider please? Thanks. One Night In Hackney 10:54, 8 January 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Thanks for the box!
Thanks for the WikiProject Kentucky State Highway box. I started the project a long time ago, but have had some odd things going on personally which took me away from Wiki. I should be back now (I hope) ;-).
Again, thanks! >: Roby Wayne Talk 17:00, 16 January 2007 (UTC)
[edit] How did you make the hotlinked barchart at Professional wrestling promotion?
How didya do it? This is really spiffy and a technique that could be used a lot more widely on Wikipedia. Mikedelsol 09:47, 17 January 2007 (UTC)
[edit] PWI
Do you know when the PWI awards will be announced? I've basically been watching several news sites and reverting every edit that was made to one page and not the rest. -- Scorpion 01:24, 20 January 2007 (UTC)
