Foulum is a small town in the Tjele parish located in Central Jutland. Foulum is a part of Region Midtjylland and a part of the Viborg municipality. There are approximately 100 households in Foulum, households in the suburb of Foulum, Formyre, included. Most famous is Foulum for its research center, located not more than a couple of 100 metres away from the town.[citation needed]
The thief Niels Heidenreich, who stole the Golden Horns, was born in Foulum in 1761.
