[edit] Hugh

What of Hugh, "deposed Bishop of St. Andrews" in 1188? See letter from Pope Clement; and Benedict of Peterborough's mention of these events in Anderson, Alan O., Scottish Annals from English Chroniclers AD500 to 1286, London, 1908: 296-298. David Lauder 18:48, 14 April 2007 (UTC)

Not sure what this has to do with Fothad, but do you mean Hugh the Chaplain? Deacon of Pndapetzim (Talk) 09:30, 15 April 2007 (UTC)
Hello, Deacon. Can't really add much as I don't really know. Pope Clement's letter refers to him as above. A mere chaplain would hardly command such a notice, surely? I'll dig the book out again and revert to you. David Lauder 13:30, 20 April 2007 (UTC)
