A Wood Duck rests on Foster Island
Foster Island is an island in Seattle, Washington, USA's Union Bay. Bisected by State Route 520, it is part of the Washington Park Arboretum.
It is a favorite pastime of Seattleites to go canoeing around the island and its wetlands.[1] Most rent their vessel from the University of Washington's Waterfront Activities Center north of the Montlake Cut.
