Talk:Formalist film theory

I've tried to clean up this article. The person who wrote it, clearly, is a theory weenie who values obtuseness over clarity of writing. Also, hyperbole was an issue ("the monumental Leone "Dollars" trilogy"—oh please).

I'd ask anyone else who edits this article to please keep in mind five simple rules:

• Clarity.
• Clarity.
• Clarity.
• Clarity.
• And finally...Clarity.

Clarity yes, but I'd add to that, tone. An informal writing style detracts from the encyclopedic value of this article. I think that we should consider flagging it as in need of attention from an expert. --130.15.224.105 (talk) 03:41, 5 February 2008 (UTC)
