[edit] Designation of appointment

Are FoS WOs definitely no longer called Foreman of Signals Quartermaster Sergeant (WO2) and Foreman of Signals Sergeant Major (WO1)? They definitely used to be. -- Necrothesp 15:47, 17 May 2005 (UTC)

I thought a WO1 was a Yeoman of Signals (YoS)?
According to this, Yeomen of Signals can be SSgts, WO2s or WO1s as well. Doing a bit more research, it appears that a YoS is a signals operator, whereas a FoS is a signals technician. -- Necrothesp 00:17, 30 May 2006 (UTC)
