[edit] E Platform No Longer an Option
Currently the best rumors indicate that the E Platform concept is dead and that a GRWD (global rear wheel drive) platform is already being developed in Dearborn. I don't believe the E Platform section needs to be deleted since it was apparently a genuinely proposed, D3-based solution to a large, future rwd platform, and therefore is a part of D3 history, it just didn't make the cut. That said, there is no doubt revisions are in order and unless somebody objects I will make them in the near future.Syr74 (talk)
[edit] E platform
Everything I've heard indicates the Panther replacement is going to be the RWD global Huntsman platform, which will also underpin FoA RWD cars, the next Mustang and likely a RWD Lincoln flagship. The Huntsman is not a D3 derivative. I'm tempted to delete the E platform section. TheBalance 18:58, 25 September 2007 (UTC)
