[edit] Summary
This is a photo of Fortuna Air Force Station that was taken during my assignment there in 1976 to 1978. The large radar depicted is known as an FPS-35 Search radar (IEEE UHF Radar), with the Secondary Surveillance Radar (SSR) antennas (beam and omni antennas) above it (IEEE L-Band Radar IFF/SIF). The power plant is to the right, and the FPS-26A (IEEE C-Band Radar) Height Finder Dome can be seen to the left.
