Foro Italico is a sports complex in Rome, Italy. It was built between 1928 and 1938 as the Foro Mussolini. Inspired by the Roman forums of the imperial age, its architectures still stick to the rationalistic style.
It contains numerous sports venues, most importantly the Stadio Olimpico, and it has hosted important events, most prominently the 1960 Summer Olympics. The tennis center is the host of the Internazionali d'Italia, an ATP Masters Series and WTA Tier I event. The stadium court has a capacity of 8,000 spectators.
