The Forest Shrew (Myosorex varius) is a species of mammal in the Soricidae family. It is found in Lesotho, South Africa, and Swaziland. Its natural habitats are temperate forests, dry savanna, Mediterranean-type shrubby vegetation, and temperate grassland.
